What you will need
Materials:
- Hook size G.
- Size 8 cotton yarn. I used Sinfonia 100% mercerized cotton yarn for the hat and some extra size 3 acrylic yarn in white and light green.
- Something to cut with.
- Something to weave in the ends with.
Hat Pattern
Fits 6-18 months.
Pattern Notes:
This pattern is worked in the round with joins between rows. The pattern provides the first repeat set and should be repeated to the end of the row unless noted otherwise.
Chain 1 at the beginning of every row and make stitch directly into the stitch below.
Stitches in parentheses ( ) reflects total stitches per row.
Shell Stitch: 1 DC, chain 1, 1 DC, chain 1, 1 DC, chain 1, 1 DC. The shells are always made on top of the DC stitch from the previous row. The are connected by a chain 1, SC into the SC from the previous row, chain 1.
Increase: 2 DC into the DC from the row below
